Today I argued a motion involving a claim my clients should be subject to arbitration in a meal break, rest break, off-the-clock, and overtime case. In a court class action the Defendant settled about 2,000 claims for workers who signed the same arbitration agreement as my clients. However, when there are only a few people bringing the same claims they want arbitration. Very inconsistent position.
